You have always loved show and tell. Since you were a kid, you proudly learned how to make something work and showed your friends, sibling, parents, and practically everybody who wants to listen. When you took up promo work, it was just a way for you to earn extra income for a trip that you have always wanted to take. When you underwent training, your aptitude for show and tell kicked in. You loved being put on the spot and being noticed for the brilliant things that you and your product can do. You have been on the job for nearly a year and it has been enjoyable. People come up to you and become mesmerized by the product, your expertise, and even your smile.
Being able to demonstrate the good qualities of a product takes skill, talent, and a certain personality. Before you had your demo job, you were also into merchandising work. It was your job to make sure that your product gets maximum exposure. When there are promotional activities, you made sure that potential customers and passers-by become interested in what is new. You found out that everybody is a potential customer and a negative answer now may mean a positive answer tomorrow. It became a good training ground to hone your skills in persuasion as you see sales go up. You love the idea of convincing people about something that you believe can improve their lives, and letting them know about products that can make daily activities easier to do.
