So for the last few days I've been considering my online presence, the amount of time it takes to keep up that presence and what is the return on my investment. I've been getting real with myself about the music side of what I do. I do it. I love it. But I'm really not interested in becoming a full time musician. I'll continue to write songs and perform. But music is only one element in a very multi-faceted life I lead. So instead of having my home page be so music-centric; I'm going to move

scottwilderweb.com will continue to be the 'hub'. the place where everything converges. All my thoughts, pictures, videos, music and musings. Anything I put online for public consumption will end up there. My thinking is that as a 'brand' I will never be the #1 hit on google. There's a radio personality with my name who will always have that #1 spot. So it's important for me to make the most out of that #2 spot I get when people google scott wilder.
So the days of trying to craft SWW into a site that mainly serves my musical interests are over. So let's see if I can up my game and have this website become something truly reflective of who I am and where I'm going.
If nothing else, it'll be a fun ride.
